<br> -->Floyd Ray Smith SPARTANBURG, SC-- Floyd Ray Smith, 63, died Saturday, May 3, 2008. Born August 8, 1944, he was a U.S. Army Veteran and member of the Church of Christ. The son of the late F.G. & Myrtle Smith, he is survived by his wife, Rita Steadman Smith; two daughters, Autumn (Adam) Richardson of Seneca and Susie (Curtis) Kimbrell of Marion; five grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Logan, and Macey Richardson and Landon and Alex Kimbrell. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at 7:00 PM at Central Church of Christ, 2052 North Church Street Place, Spartanburg, SC 29303. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Palmetto Bible Camp, 512 Sulgrave Drive, Columbia, SC 29210. The family is at the home of Walker and JoAnn Fortenberry. Harper Memorial Chapel of Taylors is serving the family.
