Florence "Flo" Peters February 8, 2011 Florence Flo Peters, 65, of Weedsport, NY, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2011, peacefully at her home with her family at her side. Flo was the owner of Peters Financial Services. She did many workshops through BOCES and libraries in the Auburn, Syracuse and Utica areas. Flo was also a group leader for the Sunshine Friends in the Auburn area, visiting nursing homes with her team of volunteers and dogs. In addition, she was also on the board of directors for the Weedsport Free Library. Surviving are her husband, James A. Peters of Weedsport, NY; sons, Steven Peters of Delaware and Jeffery Peters of Cathedral City, CA; daughter, Judi Magee and her husband, Michael, of Cato, NY; grandchildren, Chrissy Peters and Mikey Magee; brothers, Charles Moynihan and his wife, Maureen, of Dewitt, NY, Alan Moynihan and his wife, Joni, of Arizona, and Earl Moynihan and his wife, Joyce, of Pittsburgh, PA; sisters, Sharon Liddy and her husband, John, of Manlius, NY, and Ellen Gratzer of Syracuse, NY; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Flo was predeceased by a son, Michael T. Peters. There will be no calling hours or services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sunshine Friends, Inc., P.O. Box 6936, Syracuse, NY 13217-6936 or to Hospice of the Finger Lakes, 1130 Corporate Drive, Auburn, NY 13021 in memory of Flo. Jewell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
