McDONALD, Florence Retired Public Servant Librarian at National Defence Peacefully at St. Patrick's Nursing Home on Saturday, February 24, 2007 surrounded by nurses and Little Sisters. Daughter of the late Kenneth and Annie McDonald. She will be missed by Micheline Leclair, her caregiver and friend, and cousins Jack and Margaret Kerr, John and Bernice MacDonald and John and Agnes Petrie and her many, many friends. Special thanks to the staff at St. Patrick's Nursing Home for the wonderful care Florence received. Family and friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 from 12 noon until service time at 1:30 p.m. Interment Beechwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ottawa Humane Society.
