Florence Mary Maslak (nee Hardin), 92, of Edgewater Park, N.J., passed into God's loving and eternal care on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at her daughter's home. The viewing will be held on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Chubenko Funeral Home, 625 Port Reading Ave., Port Reading, N.J. 07064. The funeral will be on Monday at 8 a.m. at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 9 a.m. at St. Anthony's Church in Port Reading. Interment will be in Clover Leaf Cemetery in Woodbridge, N.J. Born and raised in Mobile, Ala., Mrs. Maslak lived in Perth Amboy, N.J., then Port Reading, N.J., for most of her life before moving to Edgewater Park four years ago. She was a member of the Port Reading Senior Citizens Club and the Woodbridge Elks Emblem Club. She also enjoyed crocheting, sewing and embroidering. Wife of the late John Maslak Sr., Mrs. Maslak is survived by her four children, Mary Anne Powell, John Edward Maslak Jr., William Joseph Maslak (Dr. Edna Lopez-Maslak) and Therese Roberts (Charles); her grandchildren, Erin Roberts, Sean Roberts, John Christian Maslak and Christopher Eugene Maslak, and two sisters, Theresa Hardin and Anne Hall, both of Mobile, Ala. Memorial donations may be made to St. Anthony's Church, Port Reading, N.J. 07064.
