(nee Armstrong). Peacefully in Ottawa on Wednesday, July 30, 2003, after a short illness, at the age of ninety-five, Florence Young, formerly of Quebec City. A woman of grace and dignity, Mom was the beloved wife of the late Harold Young and the loving mother of William Young (Sandra), of Hudson, PQ, and Cameron Young (Anne) of Victoria, B.C. "Baba" was the cherished grandmother of Kerry, Michael (Mikhaela), and Jennifer, and the great-grandmother of Maddison. She is survived by her sister Ruth Hardie and sister-in-law Florence Armstrong. Mom's life was long and rich, and she will be missed. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa, on Friday, August 1 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, August 2 from 1 p.m. until time of service in the chapel at 3 p.m. Reception to follow in the McGarry Family Reception Centre.
