BEAL Florence F. Beal, the daughter of Ernest L. and Lydia (Poole) Smith born on January 20, 1934, passed away January 20, 2013. Following her final courageous, graceful battle and the acceptance of God s will, Florence departed surrounded by love and her family. She truly loved life and all it had to offer. She enjoyed laughter and good times with friends. Florence had a fun sense of humor even in her last days. She was a favorite to all who were blessed with knowing her. She was also described by friends at Cecil Pines as being an inspiration to them. Her granddaughters were her pride and joy, but when she was blessed with 5 great grand children, she gained a new purpose in life and filled the role of Great Grandmother like no other. She was preceded by her beloved husband Eugene. Left to cherish her memory are her brother Ernest Smith, children Deborah Bainum (Skip), Donald Beal (Brenda), Dolores Flanders and Denise DeOsca (Kevin), 7 beautiful grand daughters and 5 amazing great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 23, from 6 8 pm at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 4115 Hendricks Ave., Jacksonville, FL 32207. The funeral will be Thursday at 11:00 am in the chapel at the funeral home. Memorials in her name may be directed to Community Hospice of NE FL.
