DOWNEY, Florence Eva (nee Davis) December 1, 1918 - November 2, 2006 Peacefully, on Thursday at Almonte Country Haven. Beloved wife of the late Cosmo Downey. Loving mother of Philip and Mark (and his wife Barbara). Dear grandmother of Bruce (and his wife Kathy), Sean (and his wife Stephanie), Shannon (Mike), Adam, Thomas and Krystyna. Proud great-grandmother of Matthew, Heather and Andrew. She is also survived and will be fondly remembered by her daughter-in-law Linda, sisters-in-law Joan, Hilda, Helen and Isabel and countless nieces and nephews. The last of her family, she is predeceased by nine brothers and sisters. Friends may call at the Valley Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 115 Rivington Street, Carp on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Christ Church Huntley on Saturday at 2:30 p.m., followed by cremation. For those who wish, a donation in Eva's memory to Christ Church Huntley Memorial Fund or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
