POLLOK, Florence Ethel April 11, 1920 January 11, 2007 Passed away peacefully after a difficult battle with COPD. Born in Saltcoats, Saskatchewan, she is lovingly remembered by her children, Bruce (Annette), Mavis Heerwagen, Marnie (John) Bosdet, eight grandchildren, four greatgrandchildren and brother-in-law Fred Wedgewood. Predeceased by husband Lindsay, son Terry, son-in-law Ole and friend and companion, Bert Waller. Flo and Lin retired to Victoria after many years of naval life with numerous postings across Canada. She enjoyed several years of travelling, gardening and pursuing her many creative interests. In 2002, Flo moved to the Victorian where she participated in club activities and fund raising. Her generosity and devotion to family and friends will be sadly missed. A celebration of Florence's life will be held at First Memorial, 4725 Falaise Drive on Saturday, January 20, 2007 at 2 p.m. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, a donation in her name to the Lung Association or Cancer Foundation would be appreciated. 331734
