Florence, loving wife of the late Charles Frederick “Fred” (July 2004) for over 60 years. Dear mother of Janet (late Rod) Branscombe and Kathryn (Earl) Patton both of Millbrook, David (Andrea) of Norwood and Sheila (Harold) Schaffrath of Whitby. Wonderful Grandma of Denise (Doug) Starling, Sonia (Kevin) Sicard, Steve (Michelle) Branscombe, Michael (Charlene) Patton, Michelle (Dan) Horner, Ariel, Seth & Shelby Hard, Kristen & Kendra Schaffrath; loving Great-Grandma of 6. Dear sister of Lola (late Clayton) Thexton, Jean (Jack) Ogden, Lois (late Leo) Fallis; sister-in-law of Audrey Morton. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Henrietta (nee Foster) Gardiner; special brother Bert Gardiner and her sister Doris Lowes. Special Nana of Amanda Klarer. Florence was a volunteer with Community Care Foot Clinic. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, November 8, 2008. Interment to follow at Zion Cemetery, Millbrook.
