CARTER, Florence Katherine On December 27, 2004, Mrs. Florence Katherine Carter of Lamont, AB passed away at the age of 89 years. She is survived by two daughters and three sons, Ardith (Alvin) Hisey of Hondo, AB, Allen (Donna) Carter and Sheila Vilcsak (friend Joe Parasynchuk), all of Lamont, Jim (Jo-Ann) Carter of Camrose, AB and Ian (Karen) Carter of Lamont, AB; nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Mary Hulbert of Calgary, AB and Margaret Corich of New Zealand. Predeceased by her husband, Roy (2000); three grandsons, Douglas, Clifford and Gregory; two great-grandchildren, Samantha and Joshua; her parents and one sister. Celebration of Florence's Life will be held Friday, December 31 at 2:00 p.m. at Lamont United Church, Lamont with Reverend Lara Bowditch officiating. Cremation has taken place in the Park Memorial Crematorium. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Lamont Health Care Centre (Patient Comfort Fund) or to the Lamont United Church.
