ARSENAULT, FLORENCE (LICKIE) - At her residence, the Carleton Kirk Nursing Home on Wednesday, April 28th, 2004; Florence Marie "Lickie" (Farrell) Arsenault, wife of the late Claude Arsenault. Born June 6th, 1927 and life long resident of Fairville, she was the daughter of the late William and Sarah (Keleher) Farrell. Lickie loved laughing and life but struggled for years with Alzheimers. She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She had a second loving family at the Carleton Kirk Nursing Home. Many years ago she worked at Simms Brush Factory, Horgans Bakery and (Wilsons) The Box Mill. Lickie loved bingo, music and nature and will be missed by all who knew her. Lickie is survived by her three sons Al (Lynn), Don (Sherry), of West Saint John, Jim (Sherry) of Kingston, NB, three grandchildren, Natasha, Christine and Kathleen, one great grandchild Ayden, two sisters Bertha Nolan and Elsie Perry, several nieces and nephews. Lickie was predeceased by four sisters, Lil Gerrior, Alice Laskey, Helen Walsh and Glenda Campbell. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, West Saint John, NB (506-634-1701) from where the service will be held in the chapel today, Thursday, April 29th, 2004 at 1:30pm. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 noon until service time. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery followed by a reception at the Fallsview Family Reception Centre. Donations to the Romero House Soup Kitchen or Alzheimer Society of Saint John would be appreciated by the family.
