Florence A. Forand Boonville Florence (Larrow) Forand, 95, a former long time resident of Main St., widow of Adrien G., passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2009, at Wells Nursing Home, Johnstown, NY. where she had resided since 2004. She was born in Vergennes, VT, on March 15, 1914, the daughter of William Foster and Edith Emma (Rondeau) Larrow, and from the age of four months, was raised by a very dear aunt, Delania Larrow Daniels. She was a graduate (and valedictorian) of Vergennes High School, Class of 1931. Florence was united in marriage to Adrien G. Forand, on April 18, 1932, a St. Peters Church, Vergennes, VT. In 1945, they moved to Boonville, where her husband, was employed at Sheffield Farms Milk Processing Plant in Boonville. They resided in Boonville for 50 years, and Mr. Forand died on December 26, 1995. While living in Boonville, Mrs. Forand was an active member of St. Josephs Church. Florence is survived by her son, Paul (Linda) of Altamont, NY. and daughter Suzanne (Bruce) Whitcavitch, eleven grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her husband, her son, Adrien G. Jr., her daughter, Barbara Forand Raven, and grandson, Jason Whitcavitch. Her funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Josephs Church, Boonville, with interment to follow in St. Josephs Cemetery. Visitation at the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, will be Wednesday 4-6 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
