March 18, 1936 - May 20, 2010. Fern Diane Erbs Williams, age 74, went to be with Jesus on May 20, 2010.She was born in Covington, Ky., on March 18, 1936. She lived many years in Texas and later retired to Florida where she lived for 30 years. Fern was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Josephine Erbs; sister, June Pilley; brother, Robert Erbs; and her husband of over 40 years, Loy Russell Williams Sr.Mrs. Williams is survived by her daughter, Russie (Dale) Oaks of Navarre, Fla.; her son, Loy Russell (Jackie) Williams II of Mary Esther, Fla.; grandchildren, Wendy Nicole (Paul) Mills of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Nathan Scott Sims of Navarre, Loy Russell Williams III of Mary Esther, and Kevin Martin of Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, Zoi Aleice Mills, Jewelie Rose Mills, Kaiden Paul Mills, Broden Christopher Mills, Madalynn Marie Sims, Logan Farley, Lexie Roush and Lukas Roush; and numerous other family and friends.Funeral services for Mrs. Williams will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 25, at Lewis Funeral Home, Navarre Chapel, with Pastor Buck Dockery of Mary Esther Church of God. Burial will follow in Barrancas National Cemetery with Lewis Funeral Home directing. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. at Lewis Funeral Home.
