DAVIS, Faye Elizabeth, 81, of Sebring, Fla., passed away Sunday, May 24, 2009, at her home. She was born October 12, 1927, to Carl Leanord and Ada Florence (Flint) Fowlkes, in Lincoln City, W.Va., and had been a resident of Sebring since 1961, coming from Hico, W.Va. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. Mrs. Davis is survived by her sons, Duane (Linda) Davis of Sebring; Steven Ray (Nicole) Davis of Sebring, and Kevin Ricky (Susan) Davis of Sebring; daughter, Karen Lea Montesano of Avon Park, Fla.; brothers, Lewis Fowlkes of Seffner, Fla., and James Fowlkes of Fayetteville, Pa.; 12 grand-children; and 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 14, 2009, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring, the Rev. Andy Conyer officiating. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to Good Shepherd Hospice of Highlands County, 4418 Sun ' n Lake Blvd., Sebring, FL 33872.
