Mrs. Fannie Carter -Glennville- Fannie Carter, 87, died, Saturday, October 28, 2006 at Glenvue Nursing Home under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice. The native of Germany had lived in Savannah for many years moving to Glennville 46 years ago. She was retired from Rotary Corporation and a member of Glennville First Baptist Church. She is survived by, daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Charles Simmons of Glennville and June and Wendell McCoy of Claxton; son and daughter -in -law, Wayne and Susan Carter of Augusta; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, October 29, 2006 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 30, 2006 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home Chapel.
