Family-Placed ObituaryWILLIAM JOSEPH BROOKS "JB" Age 64 of Jupiter, FL, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at his residence. Born in Columbus, OH, he had been a resident of Palm Beach County most of his life. Mr. Brooks was a contractor for the Rapids Water Park in West Palm Beach, FL. He was a veteran of the US Army and served in Vietnam. Survivors include his wife and soulmate, Linda Brooks of Jupiter; children, Christopher (Jami) Smith, Nicole (Shane) Lunsford, Crystal (John) Elliott, Raeann (Vince) Lawton; and seven grandchildren who were the light of his life; one brother, Steve Brooks; three sisters, Sharon Arata, Shirley Brooks-Jones and Sarah Carpenter. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 26, 2011 at the Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home, 250 Center St., Jupiter, FL. Friends are invited to meet with the family from noon until the time of services. Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
