Family-Placed Funeral Notice NANCY H. WOOD age 68, of Okeechobee passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at her residence in Buckhead Ridge. Born April 13, 1939 in Brockton, Massachusetts to Albert and Madeleine Howard, she has been a resident of Okeechobee for the last 22 years. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and was “rich by friends”. She was also a lifetime member of the Buckhead Ridge VFW Post 9528. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Frank Howard and sister, Natalie Howard. She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Robert Wood Jr. of Okeechobee, Florida, daughter, Janna Lee Morris of Lake Park, Florida, and brother, Daniel Howard of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Memorial contributions can be made to Hope Hospice, 9470 Healthpark Circle, Ft. Myers, FL 33908. The family has no plans for a service at this time.
