Family-Placed Funeral Notice KEVIN PETER McCORMACK Kevin McCormack, age 46, of North Palm Beach, Florida passed away at a local hospital on Wednesday morning, June 22, 2005 following a courageous battle with multiple sclerosis. He was born and raised in Armonk, New York, son of Genevieve Croker McCormack and the late Edwin J. McCormack, Jr. Kevin was a graduate of Byram Hills High School, Armonk, class of 1976, and a graduate of Villanova University, Villanova, Pennsylvania, class of 1980, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Kevin was employed by Barbizon Electric, New York, NY and resided in Armonk, New York before moving to the Palm Beaches in 1986. He was a communicant of Saint Clare Catholic Church. He was an avid sports fan and especially loved caddying, playing and watching golf. Kevin is survived by his devoted spouse of 19 years, Cathleen Mary (nee Harvey) McCormack; two adored children: son, Matthew T. McCormack and daughter, Rory C. McCormack; his beloved mother, Genevieve (husband Robert) Maloney of Armonk, NY; three brothers: Edwin J. “Ned” (wife Evelyn) McCormack, III of White Plains, NY, Keith P. (wife Mary) McCormack of Austin, Texas, Sean G.(wife Heather) McCormack of Charlotte, North Carolina; one sister, Marijoy (husband Tim) Foley of Winnetka, Illinois; three brothers-in-law and their families: Charles T. (wife Kathryn) Harvey of Frazer, PA, Philip J. (wife Betty) Harvey of Malvern, PA, William P. (wife Theresa) Harvey of Fullerton, California; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and special thanks to his longtime attendant, Dalton Quallo. “Carpe diem”. The family will receive relatives and friends from 6 until 8 PM, Friday, June 24, 2005 at Howard Funeral Home, 754 U.S. Highway One, North Palm Beach where a Scripture Service will be at 7:45 PM Friday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Clare Church on Saturday morning, June 25 at ten o'clock with Reverend Father William D. O'Shea, Pastor, as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park, Tequesta, FL.
