Family-Placed Death NoticeNaomi C. Davis, age 78, of Loganville, died April 13, 2003. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Pat H. Davis; daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Mike Sturgill, Loganville; son and daughter-in-law, Pat and Gail Davis, Baton Rouge, LA; grandchildren, Eric Davis, Cyrus Sturgill, Brian Davis and Kristin Davis; sisters, Sara McQuire, Moblie AL, Anna Louise Johnson, Meridian, MS and Margaret Baer, Mobile, AL; brother, Robert Cooper, Peachtree City. A native of Mobile, Alabama, Mrs. Davis was a homemaker. A loving wife and mother, she followed her husband's 32 year career in the military, assisting him for over 21 years as the wife of a U.S. Army Chaplain and later was beside him for over 15 years with the Baptist Home Mission Board. Mrs. Davis was a devoted member of Grayson First Baptist Church and for over 25 years, a member of the First Baptist Church of Tucker. The funeral will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, April 15, 2003, in the Eternal Hills Chapel with Dr. Charles Parrish, Dr. Huey Perry and Dr. Carl Hart officiating. Burial will follow in Eternal Hills Memory Gardens. Those desiring, please make a contribution to the Alzheimer's Assoc, STE 10, 1925 Century Blvd, Atlanta 30345. The family will visit with friends 2-4 and 6-8 Monday at Eternal Hills Funeral Home, Snellville.
