FRANK EDWIN WALKER July 30, 1933 - May 13, 2014 It is with great sadness, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, Frank passed away in his 81st year of life peacefully at Credit Valley Hospital. He was surrounded and comforted by his family over his final days. Beloved husband of Eileen for over 60 years and wonderful father to Gary (Lynda), Larry (Jan) and Greg (Brenda). Proud grandfather to Ashleigh, Stephanie, Meghan, Cindy, Katie, Jenna and Shannon and great-grandfather to Ben. Survived by his sister Shirley and predeceased by his brother John. Frank was a special uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Frank was a long-term employee of Goodyear Canada. Following his retirement he was an active member of the Goodyear Retirees Association, in addition he was a lifetime member of the Streetsville Probus Club. He was an avid photographer who adored spending time with his family. In keeping with Frank's wishes, there will be no service. Our heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Credit Valley Hospital with a special thank-you to Dr. Robert Sauls and the nursing staff in the Oncology/Palliative patient care area. If desired, donations in the memory of Frank can be made to the Palliative Patient Care Unit at Credit Valley Hospital.
