THOMAS, FRANK A., III Frank A. Thomas III, aged 57, died of natural causes on Tuesday morning June 14, 2005 while residing at the Port Chester Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Frank was born in Port Chester, NY to the union of Frank Thomas, Jr. and Hattie Johns Thomas, who predeceased him. Frank was also the grandson of the late Beatrice Ellen King Johns, a longtime stalwart resident of Port Chester. Frank is survived by his four sisters, Portia A. Scott of Laurel, MD, Jewel L. Darden of Oxon Hill, MD, Joyce E. Darden of Virginia Beach, VA and Valerie S. Baham, currently enlisted in the U.S. Navy stationed in Mechanicsburgh, PA and a host of other relatives. Frank attended Port Chester Public Schools and lived most of his life in Westchester County. Homegoing Service for Frank will be held on Friday, June 17, 2005 at the Saint Francis A.M.E. Zion Church, 18 Smith St., Port Chester, NY. Visitation will be from 9 am to 11 am at the church. Interment to follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery, Rye, NY.
