JOHNSON, Francis Marion Ret. Lt. Col., age 96, of Montgomery, Ala-bama, passed away on Wednes-day, June 14, 2006. he was a grad-uate of North Carolina State Univer-sity with a degree in Civil Engi-neering. He was a career officer in the U. S. Air Force. The Funeral will be held on Friday, June 16, 2006 at 3:00 P.M., White Chapel·Green-wood Funeral Home. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. The fami-ly will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Lt. Col. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Marion and Sara Lowe Johnson of Asheville, N.C.; his son, Francis Johnson, Jr., of Wetumpka, Ala.; wives, Evelyn Ledford Johnson and Kathleen Haggard Johnson. He is survived by his step-son and wife, Lamar and Marilyn Haggard of Orlando, Fla.; and step-daughter and husband, Ramona and Jim Hendrix of Murphy, N.
