<br/> <br/>FRANCES MULLIS <br/>SMITH --> FRANCES MULLIS SMITH, 88 Mulberry High School LAKELAND - Frances Mullis Smith, age 88, passed away January 11, 2015, of heart failure at L.R.M.C. Frances was born in Ft. Meade on October 31, 1926, to Fred B. & Ailene (Geohagan)Mann. Frances was raised in Brewster/Agricola area. She worked at Mulberry High School in the lunchroom for several years. Frances moved to Macon, GA, in 1971 where she opened 'Recovery Room' upholstery shop which sheowned and operated. Frances was a member of Mable White Baptist Church in Macon, GA. Frances moved back to Lakeland in 2007. Frances was preceded in death by her husband Frank Smith, sons Freddy Smith, Rusty Mullis and Frank 'Butch' Smith. Frances is survived by her son Charles (Debbie) Mullis, sister Irene Cobb, seven grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Thursday, January 15, 2015, from 5:00-6:00 P.M. at Seigler Funeral Home-Chapel, Hwy. 60 E, Mulberry, FL. A celebration of Frances's life will be at 6:00 P.M. The family has requested in lieu of flowers donations be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Ave., Auburndale, FL, 33823. Condolences may be sent to the family @ seiglerfuneralhome.net.
