Frances M. Morrison of White Plains, NY and Venice, FL, died peacefully after a long illness on March 18, 2006 at the age of 84. She was born on October 18, 1921 in New York City, raised in Scarsdale, NY and a graduate of Middlebury College in Vermont. She led a very active life playing tennis and working as travel director for the Rockefeller Foundation in NYC. Her job allowed her to travel extensively throughout her career. In 1990, she and Eugene Morrison were married and spent their winter months in Venice FL and continued to travel. Francis is predeceased by her loving husband Eugene L. Morrison and her brother Rudy Majores. She is survived by Cousins Margaret Pony, of Venice, FL; Schatzie Garrecht, of Tappan, NY; Dr. Eugen Strouhal, of Czech Republic; Mildred Lawless, of California; and her step niece Susan Yuhas, of Hartsdale, NY as well as many wonderful friends and extended family. A memorial service will be held at Ferncliff Cemetery Memorial Chapel in Hartsdale, NY on Saturday, March 25th, 2006 at 2 pm. A service and interment will follow in April at Lemon Bay Funeral Home in Venice, FL.
