FRANCES D. HALL - SHELBURNE - Frances D. Hall, 89, of Shelburne, died on Monday, Sept. 15, 2014, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 17, 1925, the daughter of the late Hartwell and Carrie (King) Danyew. She graduated from Waterbury High School. On June 14, 1947, she was married to Robert Hall in Burlington. Frances worked at the Burlington Free Press for five years, in the Shelburne School District as a teacher's paraprofessional for several years, and later at General Electric for 10 years. After retirement, Fran and Bob traveled across the United States in their travel trailer, first in 1986, and again in 1990. During those trips they visited 46 of the 48 continental states and saw every major landmark and National Park. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Robert Hall of Shelburne; their children, Stephen Hall of Cambridge, Mass., Deborah Hall of Brattleboro, Stu Hall and wife, Holly, of West Bolton, and Robbie Hall and wife, Susan, of Charlotte; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandson. She was predeceased by her sister, Florence Andrews; and brothers, Howard, Stewart, and Fletcher Danyew. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the Ready Funeral & Cremation Service South Chapel, 261 Shelburne Road, Burlington. Visitation will also be Thursday from 10 a.m., until the time of the service. Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Waterbury Center Cemetery.
