PETERSON, FLORENCE CAROLYN, 91 of Mount Dora, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2004. She was born to the late Luther J. McKimmy and Agnes (Boyce) McKimmy on May 23, 1913 in Beaverton, MI. Mrs. Peterson and her family moved to Mount Dora from Kalamazoo, MI in 1964. Mrs. Peterson enjoyed playing Bridge and lawn bowling. She held the title of longest standing membership with the Mount Dora Lawn Bowling Club. Mrs. Peterson also was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mount Dora. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ernest Rackel in 1962, her second husband, Harold Peterson, in 1978, and her daughter Patricia Ann Forbes, in 2004. She is survived by her daughter, Denice L. Stephens of Mount Dora; five grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers donations be made in Mrs. Peterson's memory to the Golden Triangle YMCA Scholarship Fund, 1465 David Walker Drive, Tavares, FL 32778. Friends and family are invited to gather on Friday, December 3, 2004 from 10-11AM at Allen J. Harden Funeral Home, Mount Dora, FL. Memorial service is at 11AM on Friday, December 3, 2004 in the Allen J. Harden Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Gary Upleger officiating. Arrangements are by ALLEN J. HARDEN FUNERAL HOME, 1800 N.
