SMITH, Evelyn Ruth (nee Curry) Peacefully at Carlingview Manor on Tuesday, April 5, 2005, in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late William Smith of Poltimore, PQ. Loving mother of Sharon (Del Garnett) and the late Norma Mallon. Cherished grandmother of Robin, Valerie (Dan), Jeffrey (Betty), Ivan (Lynn), Brian, and Connie. Great-grandmother of Amanda, Shawna, Anne-Marie, Adam, Ryan, Connor and Curtis. Also survived by her sisters Vivian (Harry Clyne), Marjorie (Alton Scharf) and Phyllis (Lionel Woodstock), son-in-law Mervyn Mallon and many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road at Aviation Parkway on Thursday, April 7, 2005 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday, April 8, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Church of the Epiphany, 1290 Ogilvie Road, on Saturday, April 9, 2005 at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Christ Church Cemetery, Poltimore, PQ. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Christ Church Poltimore Building Fund would be appreciated. A special thank you to the second floor staff at Carlingview Manor for their compassionate care.
