Homemaker BATH, S.C. - Entered into rest on Friday, May 2, 2008, Mrs. Evelyn Roberts Johnson, 82, wife of Mr. Robert "Robbie" Johnson, 2021 Pineview Circle, Bath, SC. Surviving with her husband, Robbie, are two daughters, Patsy Bagwell (Jimmy), and Marie Langford, all of Bath, SC; one brother, Julian Roberts (Eva), Bath, SC; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Johnson was born in Langley, SC to the late Herbert Roberts and Minnie Bell Burnett Roberts Boatwright. She was a member of Bath First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in the Hatcher Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Herb Sons and Ramon Ergle officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Carlos Kight, Bobby Kight, Melvin Lowe, Edward Lyles, Lenwood Youngblood and Ronnie Bagwell. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Southern Care, 35-A Varden Drive, Aiken, SC 29803. Friends may call at the residence of Jimmy & Patsy Bagwell, 21 Spoffard Road, Bath, SC or on Sunday evening from 7 until 9 at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, U.S. Highway No. 1, Langley, SC.
