PIERCE, Evelyn Mae Evelyn Mae Pierce of Hinton, Alberta, beloved wife of 28 years to George Pierce, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on April 11, 2007 at age of 79 years. Evelyn lived life to its fullest. She embraced those around her with open arms; she loved being with her family and friends in the great outdoors. Evelyn became very involved with the Native community later in life. She volunteered for 15 years as a court worker listening to and counseling many Native people. She was loved by all. Evelyn will be remembered for her warm smile and hearty laugh. Evelyn will be deeply missed by her husband George; her children: Baden Kudrenecky of Vancouver, British Columbia, Eduardo Kudrenecky of Jasper, Alberta, Carla (Steve) Nagy of Calgary, Alberta and her children, Dennis Wilson, Aaron Wilson, Charlene Wilson and her children Ryann and Reese, Nancy (Marc) Freedman of Hinton, Alberta and their children Mac, Sam, Jake and Elliot; her sisters: Shirley (Bill) Jokinen and family of Kapuskasing, Ontario and Mary (Mel) Keith and their family of Hinton, Alberta; numerous other relatives and many good friends. Evelyn was predeceased by her parents Lester and Beatrice Hilton. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 14th, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Our lady of the Foothills Catholic Church in Hinton, Alberta with Pastor Jim Chell officiating.
