She was born February 1, 1921 in Norfolk, Virginia the daughter of John and Gertrude (Elliott) Knuckols.She was a longtime member of the Temple Baptist Church in Newport News, Virginia and a member of First Baptist Church in Cape Coral, FL. She was n executive housekeeper for Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia for 20 years. She was a beloved wife and mother and will be missed by all of her family.She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her beloved husband of 66 years, Julian Owen of Cape Coral, FL, 3 loving children, Charlene Owen McKay of Virginia Beach, VA, June Owen English of Charlotte, NC, and Janet Owen Edwards of Lillington, NC, 5 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.A memorial service will be in Virginia Beach at the convenience of the family.Funeral arrangements under the direction of Fuller-Cape Coral Funeral Home-Cremation Service, 3740 Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral, Florida 33904 (239) 542-3161.
