CLARK Evelyn Lillian Clark, age 94 of Orange Park, FL passed away July 21, 2004 at Orange Park Medical Center. She was born May 21, 1910 in City Mills, MA. She was the widow of John J. “ J.J.” Clark who died in May of 2000 after 63 happily married years. Following his retirement from the U.S. Army, they moved to Orange Park in 1977. She had been a resident at Moosehaven for the last 3 years. Evelyn has actively participated in the Salvation Army, the Clay County Council on Aging, the Italian-American Club, the Island View Young at Heart, the Order of St. Francis, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus. She was a very active and much loved member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church. Surviving are her daughter Maria (Elbert) Parrish; her sons Tom (Marilyn) Clark, and Mark (Kaye) Clark; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter; also her brother Albert Vozzella. A Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 AM Monday July 26, 2004 at St. Catherine's Catholic Church, 1649 Kingsley Ave., Orange Park with Fr. Jose Kulathinal, Celebrant. Evelyn will be laid to rest with her husband in the Garden of the Last Supper at Jacksonville Memory Gardens. Viewing and visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the hour of service at the church on Monday morning. Arrangements under the care and direction of Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home.
