LOUDONVILLE - Evelyn Redmond Lee, 85, of Williams Park Rd., died February 18, 2003 in Manassas, Va. Born in Schenectady, Evelyn had been a longtime resident of Loudonville. In the 1930s, Evelyn was a dancer at Proctor's Theatre. She also worked as a secretary at General Electric in Schenectady and for F.W. Woolworth's in Albany during the 1960s and 1970s. Evelyn was a member and past president of the Shaker Road Fire Department, a member of the Hudson Valley Volunteer Fireman's Association Ladies Auxiliary, the Hudson Mohawk Valley Volunteer Fireman's Association Ladies Auxiliary and the Albany County Volunteer Fireman's Association Ladies Auxiliary. Also, she was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the 8 and 40 Veterans Auxiliary. She was wife of the late James E. Lee, Sr. and is survived by her son, James E. Lee, Jr. of Woodbridge, Va.; and two grandsons, Christopher Lee and Andrew Lee. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2003 at the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Colonie. Burial will be in Memory's Garden. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 - 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
