UntitledEVELYN L. COOPER1918-2008Evelyn Cooper, age 89, of Pensacola, passed peacefully from the physical life to receive her eternal reward on Tuesday, March 18, 2008. She was born September 28, 1918 in Brewton, AL, and had been a lifelong resident to this area.She was preceded in death by her husband of over 55 years, Wilburn Cooper; her parents, Drew and Lula Emmons Hall; a sister, Curtie Miller; and a brother Dewey Hall.She leaves behind a son, Andy Cooper and a daughter-in-law Billie Cooper; a daughter, Shirley Newman and a son-in-law Rod Newman; a brother, Archie Hall; five grandchildren, Tina Garrett, Jeff Cockrell, Angela Williams, A.W. Cooper, Jason Cooper; four great-grandchildren, Tiffany Herrington, Weston Williams, Ashley Garrett, and Brittany Garrett. The family would also like to thank a dear friend, Ursula Gentry, for all of her emotional and caring support. Evelyn enjoyed spoiling her loved ones as well as planting, caring for, and harvesting some of the greatest tasting vegetables from her home garden.Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2008 in the Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Odom officiating. Interment will follow in the Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens Cemetery.EASTERN GATE MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.Pallbearers will be, Jeff Cockrell, Jason Cooper, A.W.
