Evelyn Johnson, R.N. retired Lowell General Hospital nurse; 88 DUNSTABLE Mrs. Evelyn (Gordon) Johnson, R.N., formerly of Lowell and Chelmsford, died unexpectedly December 12, 2008, at the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua, NH. She was married to the late Mr. Paul E. Johnson who died Dec. 1962. Born in Montello, WI, on Aug. 11, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Evelyn (Ledingham) Gordon. She was a graduate of Chelmsford High School with the class of 1939, and the Lowell General Hospital School of Nursing in 1942, as an R.N. She was employed for 40 years with the Lowell General Hospital. She was a member of the West Chelmsford United Methodist Church, the Lowell General Alumni Assoc., and a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Framingham. She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, George S. and Mildred (Jean) Gordon of Dunstable; and a nephew, Gary Gordon of Tennessee. JOHNSON of Dunstable, died December 12, 2008.
