Evelyn Holder Johnson, 80, of Gentry Memorial Highway, Easley, passed from this life on Tuesday, February 16, 2010, at Countryside Village in Easley.Mrs. Johnson was born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late John and Viola Medlin Holder. She was retired from Southern Weaving Company and attended Pleasant Grove Baptist and Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, and Cannon Mountain Baptist Church.Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Harvey J. "Bud" Johnson; sons and daughters-in-law: Steve Johnson of Pickens, Dale and Rene Johnson of Liberty, and Ted and Ginger Johnson of Easley; and daughter: Joan Reece of Easley. Also surviving are eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.Graveside services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens with Reverend Mickey Thomas officiating.The family is at the home.Dillard Funeral Home, Pickens, S.C.
