COOPER, EVELYN JEANETTE, 74, of Louisville, died Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Norton Pavilion Hosparus Inpatient Unit. She was the former Evelyn Jeanette Eberling, a retired employee of the Internal Revenue Service, a volunteer for the Center of the Arts and Louisville Free Public Library, a greeter for the City of Louisville, a graduate of Holy Family grade school and a member of the first graduation class of Southern High School. She is survived by her sons, Steve, Christopher and Jeffrey Cooper (Shirl); her sisters, Betty Capito (Paul) and Shirley Castrogiovanni; brother, Fred Eberling (Lori); grandchildren, Brittany, Dustin, Jordan and Alex; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Embry-Bosse Funeral Home, 2723 Preston Hwy., with cremation to follow. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Monday. Memorial gifts may be made to Hosparus.
