JOHNSON, Evelyn (nee Blais) January 2, 1947 - November 30, 2007 On November 30, 2007, Evelyn Johnson passed away peacefully with her family by her side following a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 60 years. She will be dearly missed by her husband Gary, her children: Michelle (Doug) MacKay, Ann-Marit and Kristoffer; her grandsons: Cameron, Bennett and Griffin; three sisters: Toni (Eric) Hesse, Georgette (Matt) Taylor and Rachelle (George) Pouliot; three brothers: Leonard (Karen) Blais, Hubert (Elizabeth) Blais and Laurent Blais. Evelyn is also survived by her brother-in-law Dale (Judy) Johnson as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her parents Armand and Leonne and her sister Lorraine. Evelyn's family would like to extend sincere gratitude to Dr. Andrew Scarfe and the rest of the wonderful care givers at the Cross Cancer Institute. A Celebration of Evelyn's Life will be held at Holy Family Catholic Parish, 75 Poirier Avenue (corner of Poirier and Sir Winston Churchill Avenue) St. Albert, on Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Mitch Fidyka officiating.
