JOHNSON, Evelyn Marie Mrs. Evelyn Johnson passed away suddenly at her home in Camrose on Saturday, March 1, 2003 at the age of 88 years. Evelyn was born on the family homestead at Donalda on February 22, 1915. She was the eldest of seven children born to Sigurd and Isabella Broughton. She is survived by her three sisters; Ruby Nordstrom of Camrose, Lavonne (Des) Pitts of Winnipeg, Phyllis (Bob) Munson of Red Deer, and her sister in law; Shirley Broughton of Camrose. Evelyn is also survived by her special nieces and nephews. Evelyn was predeceased by her parents, her husband Marvin, one sister Bertha, and two brothers; Omar and William. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2003 at 11:00 a.m., from The Burgar Memorial Chapel (4817-51 Ave. Camrose) with Rev. Roger Nostbakken officiating. Interment will follow in the Camrose Cemetery. Funeral lunch will be held at The Camrose Masonic Hall. If friends so desire memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to The Bethany Children's Home in Gwynne, or to the charity of your choice.
