WILSON, Evelyn Diane - Passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 76. Survived by her loving husband Bruce of 45 beautiful years. Cherished mother to Kevin (Bernadette), Sean (Leslie), Barbara Cunningham, Cheryl Wiles and Karen Harpe. Caring sister to Leslie Batt (Ron), predeceased by brothers Ted and Paul. Adored sister-in-law to Pat Sprunt (John). Loving grandmother and great-grandmother to Alexander, Emily, Hunter, Mackenzie, Riley, Avery, Bill, Lesa, Natasha, Karrie-Ann, Jesse and Jeanine. The family would like to thank the staff at the Supportive Care Unit at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for their compassionate care and kindness, and for making Diane comfortable during her last days. Family and friends will be welcomed to the McEACHNIE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Old Kingston Rd., Ajax, ON L1T 2Z7, 905-428-8488, for a visitation on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place in the McEachnie chapel at 11:30 a.m. Private interment to follow.
