Sarah Evelyn Campbell Ross, 76, of 407 Memorial Drive Extension, died June 13, 2001, at Allen Bennett Hospital. A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Carl and Annabel Prewette Campbell. She was a homemaker and was a member of Praise Cathedral. Surviving are son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Teresa Ross of Greer; four brothers, C.J. "Bud" Campbell of Landrum, Willie Campbell of Boiling Springs, Carroll and Farroll Campbell, both of Grambling; one sister, Doris Howell of Greer; three grandchildren, Melissa Vidoli, Maria Hartman, and Matthew Ross; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Gowansville Baptist Church, conducted by Pastor Jerry Madden. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ronnie, Rick, Mike, Scottie and Bud Campbell Jr., and Jeff and Tim Howell. The body will be placed in the church 10 a.m. Friday.
