Evelyn C. Armstrong, 93, Venice, died June 20, 2005. She was born April 13, 1912, in Haworth, N.J., and came to Venice in 1981 from East Hampton, N.Y. She graduated from Ridgewood Secretarial School and was a media secretary for the New Jersey school system. She volunteered for the Venice Public Library for several years and was an Episcopalian. Survivors include a daughter, Patricia A. Santos of Venice; a granddaughter and a great-granddaughter. No services are planned. National Cremation Society, Sarasota chapter, is in charge. Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.
