EDWARDS Evelyn B. Edwards of Shelton, entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 24, 2003, at Bishop Wicke Health Care Center in Shelton. She was born in Fayettsville, W.V., to the late George Blaney and Maria Moss Blaney, and was married to the late William Edwards. She worked for 23 years as psychiatric aide at the Fairfield Hills Hospital, before retirement in 1978. She was a member of St. Mark"s Episcopal Church, the Women"s Service League, Juainta Temple, and a past daughter ruler of the Lincoln Council of Connecticut #38. Survivors include three cousins, the Rev. Warren S. Lewis of Hill Top, W.V., James S. Lewis of Columbus, Ohio, Berdell L. Adams, and a nephew, George A. Blaney, both of Chicago, Ill. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 28, at 10 a.m. at St. Mark"s Episcopal Church, 410 Newfield Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06607, with Father Trevor Babb, rector, presiding. Friends may call on Friday from 9 a.m. until time of service at the church. Interment at Lakeview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Evelyn B. Edwards Endowment Fund in care of St. Mark"s Church. Arrangements entrusted to the Baker-Isaac Funeral Service, 985 Stratford Avenue, Bridgeport.
