BILLERICA -- Evelyn A. (Millea) Casey, 85, a Billerica resident for more than five decades, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Aug. 16, at Saints Memorial Medical Center in Lowell. She was the wife of the late John R. Casey.She was born in Somerville, Dec. 4, 1919, daughter of the late Thomas and Stella (Rapoza) Millea. She had lived in Billerica for 51 years. She grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Hillside High School.After high school, she worked in New York City where she ws employed as an airline-reservations agent.She was a parishioner of St. Theresa Church, and past member of its Sodality. She had wintered with her husband in Bradenton Beach, Fla. for many years.Mrs. Casey was an avid reader and patron of the Billerica Public Library, and had been active with the Billerica Senior Center.She is survived by her son, Robert W. Casey of Billerica; three daughters and a son-in-law, Linda M. and Frank St. Peter of Billerica, Claudia F. Burke of Nashua and Nancy J. Casey of Lowell; two sisters, Helen Johnson of Ipswich and Claire Breslin of Billerica; five grandchildren, Frank C. Jr. and Robert E. St. Peter, Rebekah E. and Nicholas J. Burke, and Emily A. Casey; seven great-grandchildren, Caroline, Jessica, Nicole, Kyle, Allison and Sophia St. Peter and Shya Familia; and many nieces and nephews and close friends.She was also the grandmother of the late Kristin St. Peter; sister of the late Estelle (Burke) Leonard and Grace Nicholson; and sister-in-law of the late Lillian G. Casey.
