Eva Weatherbee Cooper, 91, Russellville, Ala., died April 1, 2004. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 2, 2004, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 3, 2004, at Spry Memorial Chapel, with burial in Dempsey Cemetery, Belgreen, Ala.Officiating at the funeral will be Brother James Abston.She was a native of Franklin County and was a resident of Russellville, Ala.She was preceded in death by husband, Louis Clarence Cooper; parents, James Forrest Weatherbee and Ellen James Weatherbee; one sister and three brothers.Pallbearers include Gerald Hester, Wayne Hester, Robert Thorn, Mike Taylor, Jason Taylor and Wade Taylor.She is survived by son, James Louis Cooper and wife, Rose, Russellville, Ala.; daughter, Mary C. Ogletree, Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; sister, Rebecca Thorn; grandsons, James Kyle Cooper, Wade Taylor, Mike Taylor, Jason Taylor; great-grandchildren, Katie Taylor, Landon Taylor and Cody Taylor.Mrs. Cooper was a charter member of Belgreen Baptist Church for more than 50 years and currently a member of Waco Baptist Church. Special thanks to the doctors and staff of Russellville Hospital and the staff of Terrace Manor Nursing Home.
