She is preceded in death by her children, Lillie Mae Florence, Lois Florence, Alonzo Florence, Phillip Florence. She is survived by her godchildren, Clearance Martin, Sharron Shannon; son, Neely Blanchard; daughter-in-law, Peggy Florence; grandkids, Tonji Florence, Lee Knowlden, Brandon Florence, Bianca Martinez, Brian Florence, Amber Burke, Michael Florence and a host of great-grandkids. Services will be held at C.A. Reid Funeral Home at 542 Laney Walker Blvd., Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 5 p.m.
