Eula Mae Newton White, of Lexington, Ala., passed away Thursday, March 29, 2007, at ECM Hospital after a sudden illness. She was a native of Lauderdale County, Ala., a retired book keeper at Murphy's Cotton Gin and a member of Lexington United Methodist Church.Funeral services will be at Lexington United Methodist Church on Saturday, March 31, 2007, at noon. Roy Bryant and Don Smitherman will be officiating. Burial will follow in Portertown Cemetery.Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 31, 2007, at Lexington United Methodist Church.Survivors are one daughter, Connie McGuire and husband, Neal, of Lexington, Ala.; two brothers, Milton Newton and wife, Nell, and Brad Newton and wife, Faye, all of Lexington, Ala.; one granddaughter, Tina Bowling, of Lexington, Ala.; two great-grandchildren, Blake Bowling and Britney Bowling; and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by parents, Earnest and Hautie Porter Newton, and husband, Bill White.Pallbearers will be Randy Newton, Ronie Newton, Gil Newton, Dallas Balch, Danny Killen and Kenneth Davis.Loretto Memorial Chapel is in charge of all arrangements.
