Eugene was a parishioner of St. Anne R.C. Church in Fair Lawn. Prior to retiring in 2004, he was a driver with Ridgewood Taxi Company in Ridgewood, NJ for fifty years. Beloved husband of the late Ann (Onegian) McDermott. Loving and devoted father of Richard, Robert and Nancy McDermott. Dear brother of Dolores Ploch, Pat Blundo and Joni Hissom. Cherished gra-ndfather of two. A Funeral Mass is planned for Saturday, January 5, 2008, 11:30 AM at St. Anne R.C. Church, 15-05 St. Anne Street, Fair Lawn, NJ with interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ.
