MAGUIRE, EUGENE M. - At the Saint John Regional Hospital, after a lengthy illness, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday April 6th, 2005, husband of Joan (Reid) Maguire of Lornevile, NB. Born in Saint John he is the son of the late Robert & Mildred (Galbraith) Maguire. A lifetime resident of Lorneville, Eugene worked the past 25 years as a fisherman. He was also employed with Saint John Iron Works and the Irving Pulp and Paper as a welder. He attended the Brethren Assembly all his life. Survivng in addition to his wife Joan are his children Jeff (Cindy), Julie Hebert (Bobby), grandchildren, Matthew, Dylan and Allison, all of Lorneville, sister Sharon Walsh (Lew), Rhena McCavour (David), all of Lorneville, several nieces and nephews. Eugene was predeceased by one brother Nelson. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, West Saint John (506 - 634 - 1701) from where the service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, April, 9th, 2005 at 1:00 pm. The interment will follow in the Lorneville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. In lieu of flowers donations to the charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated by the family. [Telegraph-Journal]
