COOPER, ETHEL SPECKNER, 91, of Louisville passed away January 28, 2012 with her beloved daughter by her side. She was a former employee for Western Union & member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin W. Cooper, sisters Mildred Whelan and Mary Beatty; brother George Speckner Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Michele Renee Thomas; numerous nieces and nephews; special friend, Paula Stinnett and also beloved pets. Special thanks to neighbors, Ivan Parsons and Mike Thompson of Kenwood Baptist Church. Funeral service: 2 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2012 at O.D. White Funeral Home, 2727 S.
