ETHEL MAE SMITH 1938-2008Miss Ethel Mae Smith, 69, of Pensacola passed away Monday, April 7, 2008.Miss Smith was a native and a lifelong resident of Pensacola. She attended PJC and Huntingdon College in Montgomery, AL. Miss Smith retired as a Long-distance Operator with AT&T, after 35 years of service. She was a member of the telephone organization the Pioneers.Her parents, John Clay and Ethel Larkin Smith preceded her in death.Her beloved brother, John Clay Smith, and numerous cousins and friends survive her.A Private Funeral Service will be held, followed by a burial at Bayview Memorial Park.HARPER-MORRIS MEMORIAL CHAPEL is in charge of arrangements.
